In early 2010 PEDAL was awarded a grant from the Scottish Government’s Climate Challenge Fund to take forward a range of projects aimed at enabling and encouraging people in Portobello to grow or buy more local food. Work began in April 2010, and funding ended in March 2011.
Some projects like the wind turbine are long-term initiatives that are still running.
